Open Doors Music (ODM) is an international non-profit music education organization that provides disadvantaged children from impoverished backgrounds the opportunity to channel their God-given talents and creative energies into learning and playing music. We believe that by empowering and inspiring young people through music, they will acquire the skills necessary to break the cycle of poverty and create independent and successful lives for themselves.

About ODM...
We provide music education resources to established ministries and humanitarian organizations serving disadvantaged children throughout the world. In cooperation with local teachers, we seek to deliver life-changing experiences through state of the art music technology, music equipment, internationally recognized curriculum and online music education videos. We are active in South Africa and are currently in discussion with CMIA in Kenya and with CFI India with regard to expanding ODM's music education resources.
About Gavin Audagnotti, ODM Founder...
Gavin was born and raised in South Africa and has been playing and teaching guitar professionally for more than 25 years. He has recorded numerous guitar instructional videos and DVDs and teaches a rigorous private study program, striving for a deeper understanding of music and how to teach others.
Gavin graduated from Musicians Institute (GIT) in California in 1988 and pioneered distance-learning guitar instruction in South Africa during the late 80s using video technology. He is registered with the Registry of Guitar Tutors in London, UK, and works closely with The London College of Music to develop exams centers worldwide for the purpose of helping disadvantaged communities lift themselves from poverty.
Gavin is a strong advocate for the benefits of learning and playing music and has a deep passion for helping people "unlock the music within" them – a passion that he channels into his work with ODM.
