Poverty, abandonment and the ravages of HIV/AIDS have forced millions of children into orphanhood. Their plight has robbed them of fundamental human rights to be loved and cared for, to be healthy, and to receive an education. But millions of these children carry within them a dormant, silent gift: the gift of music. Despite their plight, orphans too have dreams to do something amazing with their lives. We ask you to help us remove the muzzle; to help them discover within themselves their own unique, God-given gifts and talents. We look forward to partnering with you to make the world a more fun, noisy place!
"I've come up with the theory that the music is within. We don't bring it in; it's already there.
We have to figure out how to get it out."

– Howard Roberts, Jazz Guitar

ODM answers poverty.
Poverty is a thief that has many faces. People from impoverished backgrounds have been deprived from most opportunities we take for granted. They face hunger and health issues every day of their lives. They live in areas and communities not connected with society where they can have a chance to acquire and develop skills necessary to enable them to lift themselves from poverty.

We firmly believe, by bringing our music education resources alongside the organizations that rescue the poor from their plight, we are able to help move the disadvantaged communities one step closer to living life independently and free from poverty.

We also believe, as individuals move from poverty, they can raise the standards of living for their family and members of their community as well.

Advocacy for music education and making music.
Music is fun to learn and play!

There are mountains of scientific evidence that music instruction improves brain development and increases test scores among school children. Research has shown that learning to play an instrument can help develop parts of the brain that are necessary for math and science reasoning.
